Despite the wet weather yesterday afternoon, Year 3 did not let that stop them engaging in an afternoon of learning all about Hans Sloane and his influence on our local area. The girls participated in a carousel of activities in different locations around the school and we were particularly impressed with how they confidently articulated their learning, used accurate historical vocabulary and how they all used evidence to justify their responses.
Mr Russell, Head of History, popped in throughout the afternoon and was dazzled that ‘the girls were clearly loving their subject matter and displayed a clear thirst for knowledge’. A big well done to the Year 3 Historians!
