On Tuesday, Year 1 had a fantastic trip to the National Army Museum, where they took part in an engaging workshop about two remarkable women in history, Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. The girls walked to the museum and back again to school and represented the school brilliantly with their excellent behaviour and enthusiasm.
They particularly impressed the workshop leader with their extensive historical knowledge, confidently sharing facts about the lives and achievements of Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. It was wonderful to see the girls bringing their classroom learning to life and developing an even deeper understanding of the important contributions these inspirational women made to healthcare and society. We are incredibly proud of the curiosity, confidence and maturity they demonstrated throughout the day.
