Year 3 had a fantastic day at St Paul’s Cathedral on Monday, taking part in a special Christmas workshop that brought the Nativity story to life. As they journeyed around the Cathedral, which included visiting the incredible Whispering Gallery, the girls stepped back in time to imagine what it might have been like to travel to Bethlehem on that very first Christmas.
Through costumes, storytelling, handling objects and exploring different sights and smells, the girls immersed themselves in the story, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the events of the Nativity and the meaning of Christmas for Christians.
We were so impressed by the curiosity, enthusiasm and thoughtful reflections throughout the day. What a wonderful way to look ahead to the Christmas season.
