Years 1 and 2 spent a lovely autumn day at Foresters! Year 2 enjoyed returning to the forest and seeing how much it had changed with the new season, while Year 1 were very excited for their first trip to Norbury Park, or as they call it, the “real forest”!
The day was filled with lots of fun activities, from building hedgehog homes to making bridges and creating shelters for Paddington Bear. The girls loved working together and getting stuck into all the activities.
While the girls were busy building, Nurse Sarah was even busier making delicious hot chocolates! A highlight of the day (for both the girls and teachers!) was sitting together listening to stories while enjoying hot chocolate, marshmallows and chocolate biscuits.
We all had such a great day and are already looking forward to our next trip in the Spring Term!
