On Tuesday morning, an impressive number of talented Year 5 performers came together for their Spring Coffee Concert. It was a real delight to see the girls share their music with such confidence, polish, and professionalism.
We enjoyed a wonderful range of performances on piano, violin, guitar, clarinet, and voice. The breadth of musical study within this year group is remarkable, and it was inspiring to see how each performer expressed her individuality through her instrument or singing.
One of the standout features of the concert was the spirit of collaboration on display. Several ensembles had been created and rehearsed entirely by the girls themselves which showed real dedication, communication, and teamwork. Watching them support one another and create music together so independently was truly special, and it beautifully captured what music-making in our school is all about.
I would like to give a huge thank you to Miss Faber who helped organise and accompany the concert, as well as all of the Visiting Music Teachers that helped prepare.
