Year 5 and Year 6 were able to bask in the glorious sunshine during their recent Francis Holland Foresters trip. As they explored the great outdoors, the girls enjoyed the gifts that nature offers during the summer season. From the vibrant colours of the forest canopy to the chorus of birdsong, there was a treasure trove of sensory delights. The Foresters sessions were particularly exciting, with a focus on bushcraft and woodcraft skills.

In their latest adventure, the girls embarked on a thrilling challenge: to whittle three essential props to rescue the supposedly kidnapped Mr G! With skill and determination, they crafted a trusty bow and arrow, an intricately decorated wand, and a sturdy spear. These creative endeavours not only honed their woodworking skills but also sparked imagination and teamwork. A highly successful trip with the girls further developing their bonds and connection with nature.
