Years 3 and 4 had a brilliant trip to Norbury Park to finish their Summer Term Forest School. The girls focused on knife skills, learning the importance of respect, focus, and safety before touching any tools. They practiced controlled whittling techniques and used their skills to create simple bows, arrows with soft tips, and decorated wands. It was fantastic to see their concentration, patience, and pride as each project took shape.
Norbury Park is stunning in the Summer Term sunshine. The girls worked as a team, cheering each other on and reflecting on why safety rules matter. They left with new skills, big smiles, and a deeper respect for tools and the natural world. A wonderful trip as we approach the end of the academic year.
