On Tuesday morning, Year 1 had a fantastic talk and workshop led by Mrs Amodio and Mrs Pierotti Konarzewski all about Thanksgiving. The girls enjoyed learning about this American tradition, discovering traditional foods, and understanding how families come together to celebrate this special occasion. They learnt that Thanksgiving is a holiday for reflecting on what we are thankful for. Inspired by this, the girls thought about what they are grateful for in their lives.
The girls then had great fun creating their very own ‘Thankful Turkeys’ adorned with colourful feathers! To top it all off, the girls were treated to delicious Thanksgiving-themed cupcakes. What a treat!
