What a fantastic evening of netball against Falkner House! Both matches were played in great spirit by all the girls on court.
One game was a real nail-biter from start to finish. Despite battling through a couple of injuries, the team showed tremendous resilience and kept fighting for every ball. The scores were locked at 2-2 at the end of the third quarter, setting up an exciting final period. Falkner House just edged ahead in the closing stages to take a 4-2 victory, but our girls should be incredibly proud of their effort and determination throughout.
In our other game, Francis Holland produced a superb team performance to secure a well-deserved 9-4 win. The scoreline reflected some outstanding defensive work, with the girls putting huge pressure on their opponents and making countless interceptions. Their defensive strength provided the foundation for some excellent attacking play and a fantastic result.
A special congratulations to Tallulah and Emi, who were both nominated as Star Players by the opposition teams. This is wonderful recognition of their skill, effort and positive attitude on court.
