What a fantastic morning for our U11 netball team at the tournament hosted by Norland Place at King’s House Sports Ground on Saturday 19th September.
Competing against nine schools, the girls embraced every challenge with energy and huge enthusiasm, facing some particularly strong opposition throughout the morning, and they rose to the occasion.
The tournament also marked the first opportunity to wear our new netball dresses, and the team looked incredibly smart as they represented the school with pride. Unfortunately, their bye round did not come until the very final round of the tournament, meaning they missed out on the chance for an earlier rest. Despite this, the girls worked tirelessly from start to finish, coming sixth out of nine teams, and Julia was nominated player of the tournament for Francis Holland.
A huge well done to all the girls for representing the school so brilliantly. You should be very proud of yourselves!
