Year 2 had such an exciting STEAM lesson on the Friday before half-term with a very special visitor – Harry the Hamster! He was the perfect guest to help us with our science learning all about animals. The girls loved meeting him, learning about optimum hamster care and chatting about what animals need to stay happy and healthy. The girls then worked in groups to design and present homes for Harry, thinking carefully about what he would need to stay safe, comfortable and active. Their creative ideas and thoughtful teamwork showed just how much they have learned about animal care and wellbeing.
