We are delighted to announce that Francis Holland Prep has been named Runner Up for the Great Teaching and Learning award in the prestigious The Week Magazine’s Best of the Best Prep Awards 2026, as well as being Winner of the Great City Prep award and Winner of the Best for Pastoral Care award.
The judges recognised how at Francis Holland Prep, we thrive as a true Professional Learning Community, where the principle that everyone is a learner – pupils and teachers alike – drives our success. Our teaching and learning philosophy is defined by dynamic engagement and personalised challenge, cultivating a genuine love of scholarship in every individual. Our lessons enable pupils to build strong foundations of knowledge and understanding through a variety of pedagogical practices. Girls are encouraged to be brave and have a go, becoming confident in discovering their own unique learning strategies and passions, while our highly valued teachers are continuously developed through Collaborative Continuous Professional Learning.
This is the result of the combined work of many people – every pupil, every member of staff, every parent and every member of our wider Francis Holland Prep community – and we are incredibly grateful to every one of those people for their individual and collective contribution.
