On Tuesday, Year 3 had the honour of being invited to the Governor’s Review at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. The parade is the dress rehearsal for the annual Founder’s Day celebration, and it was fantastic to witness such an historic event in our local area.

Following the parade, the girls made their way to the Chelsea Physic Garden for a hands-on science session all about bees and other pollinators. The girls explored the role bees play in our ecosystem, discovered ways we can help protect them and were even given the opportunity to catch their own bees for closer observation – before safely releasing them back into the garden!

We are incredibly lucky to have such rich history and beauty on our doorstep and despite the wind and rain, the girls showed great determination and enthusiasm throughout the day.
