On Tuesday morning, we were delighted to host our Year 4 Coffee Concert, and what a wonderful celebration of music it was. The girls performed with impressive preparation, confidence, and a real sense of character, making it a truly memorable occasion for everyone in attendance.

The piano performances were particularly captivating. Pieces such as Cloudy Day, The Bubble, and The Wind beautifully demonstrated the girls’ ability to paint vivid pictures through music. It was inspiring to see such imagination and expression combined with excellent technical skill, showcasing the very high standard of keyboard playing across the school.

The singing was equally phenomenal, with a range of performances that captured both emotion and personality. Moving moments like Minnie’s Twilight contrasted wonderfully with Blanca’s charismatic and energetic rendition of Flash Bang Wallop!, leaving the audience both touched and thoroughly entertained.
We were also treated to outstanding performances on orchestral instruments. Millie’s flute playing and Charlotte’s cello performance were both delivered with poise and precision, demonstrating impressive musicianship and leaving a lasting impression.

A huge well done to all the girls who took part – you performed brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of your achievements. There is so much to overcome in getting up onto that stage and you all made it look effortless.

Thank you also to Miss Faber for her invaluable support and accompaniment for the concert, and to all of the music teachers for their dedication in preparing the girls so well for this event.
