Year 2 were lucky enough to be surprised by Mrs Dixon as their secret reader this week, as part of our World Book Week celebrations! They listened in wonder as they were read ‘Wands Away: Learning to Fly’ by Emma Farrarons, an exciting story all about a young witch’s first day at boarding school in the forest. There were magical hammocks, flowers that turned into lamps, and the most enchanting feast made up of the witches’ favourite foods! The girls were totally transfixed and are looking forward to reading Chapter 3 for themselves in the library.
