🌍 We are so excited to announce that FHP has received the Green Flag Award with Distinction!
This is an incredible achievement, and the girls have worked extremely hard over the past year to earn this award. As a school, we have focused on reducing waste, promoting biodiversity and taking part in a range of environmental initiatives. This work has involved everyone from Reception through to Year 6, and included efforts from pupils, teachers, and parents.
One of the standout moments of the year was our wonderful clothing donation. The Eco Champions spoke to local charity shops to find out what items were needed most. The girls then created posters and shared their findings with the rest of the school community. As a result, donations were given to charity shops throughout our local area, helping to reduce clothing waste while also supporting those in need. I am so excited to see the future Eco Champions follow in the footsteps of the 2025-2026 Eco Team and continue to make our school and community a more sustainable place!
