On Tuesday this week, we once again welcomed the team from School in a Bag to complete our second bag pack with the girls. This time, all the girls were able to pack their own bag and help prepare them to be sent to those in need of our support. The bag packing experience has really helped the girls understand the importance of what they are doing and the impact that their fundraising will have for those disadvantaged, disaster-affected and displaced children worldwide.
Last weekend, Skylar and Amelia in Year 3 took part in a Charity Bike Ride to raise additional funds for School in a Bag, which they have agreed to add to our school total. With their spoke-tacular total of £1,828 and the £12,397.50 raised through our Parent Breakfasts, Charity Dog Show, Christmas Carolling, Cake Sales and Enterprise Fair, the total is a WHOPPING £14,225.50.
It absolutely would not have been possible to raise such an incredible amount of money without your support, so THANK YOU – we are incredibly grateful.
