Last Friday, our Year 6 girls enjoyed a rewarding visit to Battersea Park, where they took part in a community volunteering project. Walking across Albert Bridge in the sunshine, the girls made their way through the park to the community garden. There, they learned about the work of Time Givers, gaining insight into how the charity supports local communities through volunteering. The girls then contributed creatively and practically by making bird feeders and designing signs for the garden, leaving a lasting impact on the space. It was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to combine learning with service, demonstrating teamwork, enthusiasm, and a sense of social responsibility.
