Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic day at Norbury Park this week, making the most of the wonderful weather! The morning began with shelter building, followed by a nature identification walk, where we spotted the first signs of Spring.
After a well-earned break with hot chocolates and s’mores, the afternoon was filled with creative outdoor learning. Year 3 gathered natural materials to create their own fireworks, inspired by The Firework Maker’s Daughter, while Year 4 sketched leaves in detail and observed the changing season.
With the sun shining all day, on the warmest day of the year so far, it was the perfect way to welcome the start of Spring!
