The buzz of excitement and anticipation was evident as soon as the girls arrived at school last Friday morning, dressed in their own party clothes ready for the end of the school day. The School Fête was a brilliant celebration of the FHP school community, giving families the opportunity to mingle over food, a glass of Pimm’s and all the entertainment on offer. The girls darted between the bouncy castle, hook-a-duck, the tombola, spin the wheel, the beauty bar and photo booth. They were transformed into unicorns and butterflies by the face painters and kept busy creating photo frames and fans in the crafting sessions. Mr Bubbles, the ballon artist, and the magician were huge hits, with the girls excited and engaged with their performances and so keen to share what they had been doing with their family and friends.

The delicious spread of food provided by our wonderful catering team kept everyone fuelled, along with the freshly made pizzas straight from the ovens, which disappeared almost as quickly as they were served. Miss Daisy Houlder and Mr Andy Moore provided excellent music to keep the summer feel going and the relaxed atmosphere carried the evening perfectly.

The whole event was a tremendous success, showcasing the warmth of our school community. A huge thank you to every volunteer who gave their time and energy, and particularly to the PSPA Fête Committee, whose hard work and organisation made the whole event come together so successfully.
