A huge well done to our team of six talented girls who reached the national semi‑finals of the Cicero Cup debating competition. In a challenging 90‑minute impromptu Zoom debate against seven other schools, they tackled the motion “This house believes children should only be assessed on classwork instead of tests and exams.” Although they did not progress to the finals, the girls spoke with confidence, clarity and excellent teamwork, adapting their arguments under pressure and responding thoughtfully to opposing points. Their achievement at this national level is something we are incredibly proud of.

Congratulations to our Cicero Cup Semi-finalists: Cara S, Luisa P, Matilda S, Olivia J, Aadya A and Sage D.
