On Thursday, Year 6 spent the morning at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in Southwark, taking part in a tour of this historic cultural venue and an engaging workshop focused on Romeo and Juliet. This visit forms part of the Spring Term’s analytical study of one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies. The tour and workshop offered exciting, relevant insights that supported pupils’ learning and allowed them to experience the great Bard’s work brought vividly to life.
