On Wednesday, we welcomed our Year 6 parents and girls to our dining room filled with bacon and pancakes for our final bring a parent to breakfast event this year. Before the girls arrived, the parents were shown a presentation from School in a Bag, this year’s school charity. Mrs Dixon updated us about our current fundraising totals and just how grateful we are to our wonderful FHP families and girls who have provided school bags for so many children.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our parents and our very persuasive girls, we raised almost £1,200. This fantastic amount is enough to buy another 48 bags. In total we now have enough to buy 254 bags meaning we have hit our goal of one bag per girl, in addition to the 126 bags we have already sent.
We would not be able to do what we do without your incredible support. We are excited to see what we can raise in upcoming events, who knows what could be possible!
