On Wednesday morning, the Hall was a hive of activity as the first bag packing session to support our school charity got underway. Tables were set up into a production line of exercise books, pens, pencils, lunch boxes and water bottles all to be packed by the girls into the red School in a Bag back packs. Over an hour and a half, all of the girls were involved in packing a bag and including the all-important letter written last week. It was such a valuable experience for the girls to see what goes into each bag and understand what each recipient will have access to.
With such a significant sum raised at our last parent breakfast and with more fundraising to come, we are continuing on our mission to raise enough to buy a further 200 bags. Planning is already in the pipeline for our next bag pack later in the year.
A big thank you is also needed for the PSPA volunteers who helped to sort, pack and load all of the bags alongside the girls and Katie and Luke from School in a Bag.
