On Wednesday morning, we hosted our annual Morison Verse assembly, in honour of Alice Morison, the headmistress of FHS from 1908 to 1935, who was known for her love of poetry. Two pupils from each class, Reception to Year 6, showcased their poetry skills by reciting a poem of their own choosing in front of the entire school – a captive and very appreciative audience! We enjoyed the power of poetry from Shel Silverstein to Sylvia Plath, delivered with clarity and conviction. Our Prep School Finalists will go on to perform at the finals at the Senior School, Sloane Square next Monday.

Reception: Helena
Year 1: Georgia
Year 2: Aurelia
