“Hello, my name is Polly and I am the Spring Term Head Girl. I am very pleased and grateful to have Yasmine as my Deputy as we are great friends! Even though I have only been at Francis Holland for two years, I have enjoyed it so much. I really hope that the younger girls, and my little sister, have as much fun as I have. Outside of school, I love to do art and play with my dog, Otto!”
“Hello, my name is Yasmine and I am the new Deputy Head Girl. I have loved every moment of my time at Francis Holland and want to make sure that everyone else has the same experience as I did. I am thrilled that Polly and I are working together. At home, I love to draw and adore my dog, Odin!”
Mrs Dixon interviewed her Spring Head Girl and Deputy today as she was keen to hear more about the importance of their roles. Polly and Yasmine have strong beliefs about leadership and said, “Kindness is the most important thing of all, therefore being responsible role models, we must show our kindness always.” They both felt commitment to these positions and want to be worthy and deserving of respect for doing a good job. Yasmine and Polly were also keen to ensure great inclusivity as they want, “everyone to feel like they always belong.”
