We are absolutely delighted to announce a very special creative collaboration taking place at Francis Holland Prep. Adelaide Aronio – a French artist who works across a range of mediums and is an experienced mural artist – has joined us this week to work with the girls on an exciting mural project for the much-loved Sloane Stanley Fire Station Wall.
Adelaide has led a series of inspiring workshops with each year group, encouraging the girls to explore their creativity and contribute ideas for the mural design. The theme beautifully pairs our school values with Christmas-inspired elements such as angels, stars, donkeys, and edelweiss. Each year group has been assigned a specific element, and the girls have responded with enthusiasm, imagination, and joy.
It has been wonderful to see the girls so engaged in the process, sharing thoughtful interpretations. Adelaide will now take all their brilliant ideas and begin crafting the final mural design, which will be unveiled at the end of October.
This project is not only a celebration of art and community, but also a reflection of the values we hold dear at Francis Holland. We are so proud of the girls’ contributions and can’t wait to see how their creativity comes to life on the Fire Station Wall.
Watch this space – the final design promises to be something truly special!
