The beginning of this term saw our first round of bag packing for School in a Bag. The girls worked in partners to write letters and pack their bags ready to be sent off to the children who needed them most. Our original aim was to send one bag per girl in the school, and we were hoping for a matched bag pack later this academic year. Following the huge generosity of our parent body, and the ingenuity of our girls, we have well and truly broken our original target and are pleased to announce that we will be able to pack another bag per girl in the summer term, and still make an additional donation to the charity, with further events still to come. Our total is currently sitting at a magnificent £10,644.08!
Our wonderful Charity Reps will continue their role into the Summer Term and support in the final fundraising and bag packing initiatives – their smiles and good nature whilst collecting donations have definitely made all the difference. Thank you to Sophia F (3B), Skylar F (3W), Freya S (4J), Sophia A (4C), Isabella W (5S), Honor H (5T), Melina S (6D) and Abby E (6G).
May we suggest that if you have a dog of your own, or can borrow a dog for a day, that you get practising your obedience skills and tricks ready for our next fundraiser in the Summer Term. It will be a paw-sitively brilliant event!
