To celebrate Diwali, this week Year 3 were lucky to enjoy a special talk and activity led by a group of parents. The girls learnt all about the origins of the Diwali story and the significance of light in the festival. After exploring the history, they created their own colourful lanterns lit by candlelight and even received some special jewellery to mark the occasion. We are so fortunate to have a supportive parent community who generously share their time and culture with us. The session was a great celebration, and it left the girls with a deeper appreciation of Diwali and the values it represents. A big thank you to the parents who made this experience so memorable!
