On Tuesday morning, Year 5 transported us straight to Brazil with a vibrant and dynamic class assembly. They became news presenters, carnival dancers, rainforest animals, and curious tourists to bring the sights and sounds of this incredible country to life.
One of the highlights was their lively performance of The Samba – an energetic instrumental piece featuring drums and maracas that perfectly captured the rhythm and spirit of Brazilian music. We could not get them to stop!
The assembly not only showcased the learning they have done in their geography lessons, but it was also a wonderful display of teamwork, creativity, and confidence. It left us all smiling and with a deeper appreciation for Brazil’s rich culture and natural beauty.
