On Tuesday, our Year 4 girls took part in an enjoyable friendly cricket fixture against Falkner House during their Games lesson. It was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to put into practice the skills they have developed over the past four weeks.

Despite feeling tired following Sports Day the day before, the girls showed excellent enthusiasm and commitment throughout. They demonstrated growing confidence in their batting, bowling and fielding, and worked hard to apply what they have learned in a match setting.

We were fortunate to dodge the unsettled weather and enjoyed a welcome dry spell, allowing the fixture to go ahead uninterrupted. A number of our girls also volunteered to play for Falkner House to help balance the teams, doing so with a fantastic attitude and great spirit. We are looking forward to Summer 2!
